Quick answer

Choose the Godzilla Plush Charm if you want a cheerful, kaiju-themed accessory with felt details that stands out on a bag. Choose the Chucky Plush Charm if you prefer horror-themed collectibles and want an officially licensed Child's Play item. Both are 4-inch plush charms with O-ring clips, so your decision comes down to character preference and small material differences.

Size and attachment: nearly identical, with one small difference

Both charms measure 4 inches tall and use an O-ring clip to attach to a backpack, tote, purse, or belt loop. That size is small enough to hang without crowding a strap but large enough to be recognizable. The Godzilla charm's catalog description specifies a sturdy O-ring, while the Chucky listing does not use that adjective; both still use an O-ring clip, so treat the difference as a wording choice rather than a proven durability gap.

Because both are plush, they will compress slightly when squeezed into a crowded bag. Neither listing includes a removable strap or a second attachment point, so plan to clip them to an exterior loop rather than bury them inside a pocket.

Design and licensing: horror icon vs. kaiju reinterpretation

The Chucky charm is an officially licensed Child's Play product, which matters if you collect licensed horror merchandise or want a recognizable Good Guy Chucky design. The Godzilla charm is a Kidrobot plush interpretation that gives the legendary kaiju bright eyes, a big smile, and felt claws and dorsal plates. That makes it a softer, more playful take on a character usually associated with destruction.

Neither listing includes exact fabric composition, colorfastness details, or washing instructions. If you need those specifics before ordering, treat the pre-order as a design-first purchase and plan to spot-clean only.

Price and pre-order status: close, but not identical

At catalog prices, the Chucky charm is listed at USD 10.49 (compared with USD 14.99) and the Godzilla charm at USD 10.84 (compared with USD 14.85). The difference is small enough that character preference should drive the decision rather than the price gap. Both are pre-order items, so check the current product page for the latest availability and estimated shipping window before you commit.

Because these are pre-orders, the listed price can change before release. If you are choosing between the two, decide based on which character you will actually carry, not on a few cents of savings.

Trade-offs to weigh before you pre-order

Character tone: Godzilla is presented as cuddly and cute with a big smile; Chucky is a straight horror icon. Pick the tone that matches the rest of your bag or collection. If you mix horror and cute accessories, neither choice is wrong—just decide which tone you reach for more often.
Material detail: Godzilla lists felt claws and dorsal plates, which add texture but may pill or snag with heavy rubbing. Chucky's listing does not specify felt details, so it may have a simpler surface. If the charm will rub against a rough strap daily, inspect the felt areas on Godzilla periodically.
Licensing and collectibility: Chucky is officially licensed Child's Play merchandise, which can matter to horror collectors. Godzilla is a Kidrobot interpretation rather than a film-licensed replica. Check the product page for the exact license wording if official merchandise is a must for your collection.
